Gallina Roberto
History
The winery is located in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Prosecco DOCG region at an altitude of 250 m.
The company tradition has been handed down from generation to generation, in an authentic family business. It all began towards the end of the 1870s with great-grandfather Gallina Pietro and his wife Felletti Luigia, who then handed the business down to grandfather Giovanni and finally to father Pietro, who continued to lead the company until 2000. That year, current owner Roberto Gallina joined the business after finishing his studies and now manages the winery together with his wife Jacqueline.
The winery cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards, including one hectare of Superiore di Cartizze, the king of Proseccos. The total production is around 45,000 liters per year. From these, 10,000 liters are allocated for their own bottling, distributed on four different labels.
